Leadership and Management of Care Services (Old RMA)
The objectives of the course are;
To recognise existing competence and skills in the
workplace via work based assessments.

Any person working in the field of Health and
Social Care as a Deputy/Manager. ( Under the
provisions of the Care Standards all managers
should have, or be working towards a recognised
qualification and be fit to practise by April 2005)

Up to twelve months.

The objectives of the course are;
To recognise existing competence and skills in the
workplace via work based assessments. To
increase knowledge of legislation and best practice. To
collect evidence for the Mandatory Units and
Optionial Units relating to your area of care. To build a
portfolio of evidence which reflects your
competence in management of the workplace.

By means of holistic observations in the
workplace, Professional discussion, the provision
of witness testimonies, product evidence,
reflective accounts, oral and written questions
and underpinning knowledge sessions,

The successful candidate will be awarded this
nationally recognised qualification.

£1,300 plus VAT, includes all registration/ fees
