Infection Control
A half day course which, through presentation and discussion, will highlight the main aspects of the subject, causes of infection, sources of infection, routes of infection, times when personal protective equipment must be worn. Assessment will be through answering set questions and demonstrating effective hand washing technique. On the successful completion of this course candidates will be issued with a course certificate.

All Community Care Workers

Half day

A 1/2 day course which, through presentation and discussion, will
highlight the main aspects of the subject. At the end of the course
the students will be able to demonstrate through questioning their
gained knowledge covering the areas of:
• causes of infection
• sources of infection
• routes of infection
• prevention of infection
• times when personal protective equipment must be worn+

Assessment will be through answering a series of set questions and by demonstrating effective hand washing technique

On the successful completion of the course all students will be
issued with a course certificate.
