Care of The Dying and Bereaved
A half day course explaining the physical, physiological and emotional processes of the dying and bereaved including an outline of the needs and requirements of different cultures

Any person caring for the terminally ill or dying or coming into contact with their relatives

1/2 day

Candidates will cover the following subjects on this course

Physical care of the dying person
Attitudes about death and dying
Stages of dying
The family
Cross cultural awareness
Legislation and procedures

Assessment will be by written questionnaire

On the successful completion of the course all students will be
issued with a course certificate
