This HSE accredited course is to provide the student with the skills and knowledge and skills to become the First Aider in their workplace.

4 consecutive days

This covers the
Roles and responsibilities of a First Aider
Completion of accident forms
RIDDOR reporting procedures
Personal protective equipment
Conducting Primary and secondary assessments
Performing Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) effectively.
Manage medical emergencies
Treat wounds and bleeding, burns and scalds, bones and muscle injuries
State and treat effects of heat, cold and poisons.

Assessment of gained knowledge is through completion of knowledge test and practical demonstration.

All candidates will recieve a certificate on completion of this course.
